Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Geraldton, a small town in Western Australia, then moved to Marin County, California when I was 16 years of age with my mum, dad and brother.
Where did you play basketball from juniors through high school?
I played basketball for the Pumas basketball club in Geraldton from Under 8’s till Under 16’s before moving to America. During my time in Geraldton, I had represented Western Australia in the national competition 4 times, as well as training with the Geraldton Buccaneers and playing in the men’s 1’s and 2’s competition in the Geraldton Basketball Association for Pumas.
When I moved to California, I played basketball for Sir Francis Drake High School in for two years, winning two regular season championships!
Where did you play college basketball?
Hope International University (HIU). A small, Christian college, that competed in the NAIA Division One competition. I attended HIU from 2013-2018 earning a teaching degree that allows me to teach high school mathematics and physical education. In those glory years, HIU had won its first ever regular season and conference tournament championship in 2014 along with a trip to the national tournament where we made it to the Final Four before losing on a last second shot. HIU won another regular season championship in 2017 and I was fortunate enough to make a trip to the national tournament every single season I played. Myself and my roommate now hold the record for the most wins all time as a player in HIU history, and for those that know me, I love to win!
Have you played professional basketball? If so, where?
I have played semi-professional basketball for the Geraldton Buccaneers from 2018 to present. I had signed to play basketball in Melbourne in 2020 before COVID hit and signed a contract to play semi-professional basketball in Germany in May before going through a near career ending knee injury. I’m now hoping to continue my personal career for as long as my body lets me!
